Ashley Sexton
Ashley graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, and most recently earned an M.A. in Psychology from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is currently a third-year PhD student in the School Psychology program and a Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Her research interests include studying school-based mental health interventions for autistic students.

Naomi Youakim
Naomi graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Spanish and Educational Studies from the University of Florida. She is currently a fourth-year PhD student in the School Psychology program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also the Program Coordinator for the Rural Appalachia Mental Health Partnership (RAMHP) Grant. Her research interests include early mental health and behavioral intervention as well as implementation science. She loves the nature in Knoxville!

Paris Harrington
Paris graduated in 2023 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Education from the University of South Carolina. While completing her undergraduate degree she was a research assistant in the Healthy Futures Lab at USC. She is currently a third-year Ph.D. student in the School Psychology program and the Internship Support Specialist for FUTURE at the University of Tennessee. Her research interests include school-based mental health specifically with elementary aged children. A fun fact about Paris is that she was a cheerleader at USC!

Sophie Kronenberger
Sophie Graduated in 2024 from Elon University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in French. She is currently a second-year PhD student in the School Psychology program at the University of Tennessee and works as Graduate Assistant for the PASS program. Her research interests include early childhood interventions, specifically for students with behavioral, developmental, and/or learning disabilities.

Chloe Muller
Chloe is a second-year PhD student in the GLOW lab. In 2022, she earned her BA in psychology from McGill University, with minors in computer science and behavioral science. After graduating, Chloe worked as a research coordinator in a PTSD treatment lab. Chloe’s research interests include identifying risk and protective factors for child and adolescent mental health as well as school-based behavioral and mental health interventions.

Xiaoshuo Dong
Xiaoshuo graduated in 2023 with a B.S. in Psychology (Specialist) from University of Toronto and recently earned an M.Phil. in Educational Psychology from the University of Cambridge. She is currently a first-year Ph.D. student in the School Psychology program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she also serves as a Graduate Teaching Associate at the Early Learning Center for Research & Practice. Her research interests focus on positive psychology and culturally inclusive school mental health services for youth from minority backgrounds.

Kalli Segura
Kalli attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology in 2020, and a M.S. in Psychology in 2023. After graduation, she worked at a local psychology practice where she served as the office manager and ADOS-2 administrator for two years. She is currently a first-year Ph.D. student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the Clinic Coordinator at the KLASS Center. Her research interests include early behavioral interventions and parenting strategies that promote children's overall well-being, specifically children with developmental and learning disabilities.

Emmy Fondren
Emmy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is pursuing further education with the goal of serving a broader and more diverse community. As a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult) and a dedicated advocate for individuals who are differently abled, Emmy’s research interests focus on how disabilities affect students’ mental health and academic performance.

After contributing significantly to our research group, Jillian made the decision to follow her true passion—teaching. She is now an elementary school teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools in Alexandria, VA.
